Happy Customers

I have mentioned somewhere else in these pages that one of my business goals is making other people happy. This isn’t just fluff, it is a concrete goal for me because I derive a lot of joy in creating a smile. It’s as valuable as cash even if I can’t buy beer with it. 🙂 If I can’t make a few folks happy, then it becomes just another job like every other job I have held since 1973 and frankly, I ain’t got no time for that.

 I just finished a custom project for some very nice repeat clients, a simple farm table bench to match and existing table they had built 30 or more years ago. Simple pretty Eastern White Pine. Although it was through this project that I learned of my skin allergy to Pine sap and dust, it was still worth the 3 weeks of pain and agony (and prescription meds) to get it done and make the delivery. You will not likely see photos of this one in my gallery because I took almost no photos. I was just focused on what the customer wanted and needed. 

  Yesterday was a very good day because I created a smile, and that is what it’s all about.
